The second installment of Marvel’s Spider-Man revealed in September of last year, and it revealed that it would be a PS5 exclusive at the time. There have been no further updates regarding the game since then. Inevitably, players anticipating the sequel concerned that it will be released later than expected. Insomniac Games has taken to Twitter to assure fans they are still on schedule for a 2023 release of Spider-Man 2. Bill Rosemann, the executive VP of creative development at Marvel Entertainment, has said that he believes Spider-Man 2 to be “a touch darker” than its predecessors. According to Rosemann, if the first Spider game was Star Wars, then Spider-Man 2 is the Empire. Meanwhile, Tony Todd, who provides the voice of Venom, stated that movie won’t released until 2023 since the “game is gigantic.” Hopefully, we’ll look at the gameplay in Spider-Man 2 very soon.
