Cause of Death for Gloria Dea? Obituary: First Las Vegas Magician Dies at Age 100

At 100, Gloria Metzner, better known by her stage name Gloria Dea, unfortunately, passed away. Cause of Death for Gloria Dea?

She was Leo and Martha Metzner’s daughter. After serving in the 363rd Infantry Regiment of the 91st Division during World War I, his father returned home and started working as a paint salesman and running a chain of paint shops. Under the stage moniker “The Great Leo,” she also gave magic shows in the neighborhood.

At the age of 4, she started performing tricks, and by the age of 7, she was recognized as “the young working magician in the world.” She had two pet piglets and a pigeon as pets, and she excelled at the hat trick. At the age of 11, she joined the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians as its youngest member, and at the age of 12, she was recognized for her finest work with livestock.
