Who is Tom Whitlock? American singer and composer Tom Whitlock died at 68.

How Did Tom Whitlock Die?

Thomas Ross Whitlock was born in Springfield, Missouri, on February 20, 1954. He grew up in the same spot. Several well-known artists came to the city while Ozark Jubilee was filmed there. This made Whitlock want to learn how to play the drums. Soon, he played drums in live bands and studios with well-known composers like Wayne Carson. When Whitlock was 15, he began to write songs on the keyboard. He went to Glendale High School in Springfield, Missouri, during the week and played with rock bands all over the Midwest on the weekends.

Whitlock and Moroder wrote five songs for the movie Top Gun together. These songs include “Take My Breath Away” and “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins, a big hit. Some artists with 113 songs registered with ASCAP are Berlin, Bonnie Tyler, Ray Charles, Teddy Pendergrass, Graham Nash, Falco, Diana Ross, Jennifer Rush, Michael McDonald, Roger Daltrey, and John Entwistle.
